Renfree Farms’ Triple Play Olive Oil hits a ‘Home Run’ at the California State Fair Extra Virgin Olive Oil show by Winning Gold
Sutter County’s Renfree Farms won a gold award for their Delicate Blend Arbequina variety at this year’s California Extra Virgin Olive oil Competition
Live Oak, CA, June 1, 2016 – Triple Play, an award-winning olive oil produced by Renfree Farms, entered this year’s California State Fair Extra Virgin Olive Oil Completion and won a gold award for their delicate blend Arbequina variety.
A growth industry in the Sacramento Valley, olive oil production shows no signs of slowing. The California Olive Oil Council lists over 35,000 acres of olives planted in California for the production of extra virgin olive oil, about 14,500 acres of which are in the Sacramento Valley. Renfree Farms, operating out of Live Oak, in the northern part of the valley, entered the 2016 California State Fair Extra Virgin Olive Oil Completion. Their delicate blend Arbequina variety won a gold award.
This summer, California State fair attendees will once again be able to sample Triple Play delicacies as Renfree Farms will be pouring and selling their award-winning olive oils.
